MySQL remote access

To access MySQL remotely, the user will have to perform a few simple steps:

1. Log in to your cPanel and click on Remote MySQL, in the Database section
   
   
   
   
2. In this section, add the remote host that will have access to the mysql database and any comment relating to the host.
   

   
   
    

   In the Host field, you can enter the IP address of the remote host you want to enable or enter the wildcard "%" to allow any remote IP (not recommended!) to access your mysql database.
   
   

3.  Finally click “Add host” to complete the operation.
